Neither Timberlake's nor Pharrell's camp has said whether either will reappear during the Los Angeles shows, and Jay-Z has not commented publicly on the guest selections beyond promoting the tour dates themselves.

For an artist marking three decades since his debut, the run of surprise pairings has doubled as a victory lap through his own catalogue's collaborators.
